Basic Skin Science Course is June 25 in Philadelphia

The Society of Cosmetic Chemists will hold a basic skin science course, instructed by Randall Wickett, Ph.D., on June 25 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

This basic course on skin anatomy, function and evaluation methods is designed for cosmetic chemists. It will focus on how the structure of skin influences its interaction with products and how those interactions influence measurable properties of the skin. The course will cover many aspects from the dermal matrix to Langerhans cells to SC barrier lipids to skin aging and more.

SCC members can take the course for $350 (after June 11, $400), SCC student members are $200 ($225) and non-members are $475 ($525). Registration fee includes all course materials, lunch, coffee and beverage breaks.
